Mission statement

Our mission is to provide goods and services to underprivileged children, teenagers or very young adults.

Year 2016 was another very productive year for our organization.  With the help of local businesses and private donations, we had the privilege of giving over 400 foster youths and several single parent families a wonderful and memorial holiday season at year's end.  With many fund raisers this year including one massive yard sale, we enhanced the lives of a large number of needy children.  A heartfelt "Thank You" goes out to everyone who contributed, whether that be in the form of funds, time or effort.  With the communities help to make it all possible, we look forward to meeting the needs of more underprivileged children in 2017.

If you are not able to help with a direct contribution, you can still help by volunteering your services or by attending and supporting our fundraising activities throughout the year.  Check out our more recent or projected fundraising activities by clicking on the FUNDRAISERS button above.

More importantly, if you know or are aware of any needy child, won't you take the time to please click on the REFERRAL button above and tell us about it.  Although most of our referrals come from state or similar sanctioned organizations, we will certainly get back to you and are prepared to service any underprivileged child where the need can be verified.  We will only be limited in servicing the need if it is not within our fiscal capacity.

Announcement

Tbe New Londaon Day published an article in their Family Magazine in October 2017 that featured Kinship4Kids.  Check it out here at this link or if you subscribe to the Day newspaper you can view it at http://epaper.theday.com/epaper/viewer.aspx

St Andrew Catholic Church in Colchester will once again have a Christmas Giving Tree just inside the entrance of the church that will benefit Kinship4ids.  Cards with the name of a requested gift will be hung in place of ornaments.  Parishioners will be asked to select one or more of these cards and fulfill the gift.  Purchased gifts can be left near the tree in boxes that will be provided.  The Christmas tree and box will be available on November 11th and the collection of gifts should be concluded during the first two weeks of December to enable delivery to the proper recipients.

Do you want to help?  Won't you make a tax deductible donation to assist in our efforts.  You can do this below by clicking on the DONATE button below.
